The What Kinds of Talent
We know there are many talented and skilled young individuals out there in Alamance County and we want to see it!  Dancing, acting, and singing acts are all welcome, but we don't want to stop there.  Comedians, musicians, bands, magicians, artists, and other performers are encouraged to participate too.  ACDFC wants the evening of May 12th, 2018 to be full of amazing acts and performances.  (Sorry, but we cannot have acts with animals, fire, or glitter).

The Who of Judges
We are so happy to announce three of our judges for the talent show:  Burlington Mayor Ian Baltutis; Alamance District Court Judge Larry Brown; and Emily Balson, Music Major at UNC-Charlotte and Alamance County resident.

The How You can Help
ACDFC wants this to be a community event, bringing together individuals, families, businesses, groups and organizations.   "Alamance County's got Talent"  has opportunities of sponsorship, volunteering, donating, and supporting the event and the contestants.

And the Why
Why is ACDFC hosting "Alamance County's got Talent" for our youth?  Well first of all....talent shows are just simply fun and entertaining!!
The Board Members of ACDFC want to host this event to show off some of our amazing kids and young adults.  A talent show involves the whole community and brings everyone together for one special night of entertainment.  Talented contestants get to plan, practice, and perform and do something they love in front of an audience.  ACDFC wants our youth to be safe, have access to positive fun and excitement,  and learn that there is no room or time for negative activities that include alcohol and drugs.  Who knows....someone may even be discovered and go on to fame!!
